Hobb is a master of character building.

I had put off reading this book for years, since i had always heard it was slow, and i'm not a fan of first-person perspective novels.
Competitiveness
Book has very few slow points and skips a lot of unnecessary descriptios but still creates a discriptive world.
This book was a thoroughly enjoyable trip into a different world!
