Rather than glancing down at the screen the eye level is set just as if youre looking at radio or builtin nav screen

An easy button on the back slides the width out on a controlled spring till the phone is either loosened from the mount or the empty mount has reached the width you need by the way this thing could probably hold a kindle

This mount is also adjustable to move the screen face up down right left or any other way you need to comfortably view the screen

I had another brand for 3 months before the suction cup failed and fell off and broke

We have it on the air vent and it holds the phone securely
