The box is compact and won't add won't be noticed, especially considering how big the ps5 is. This hdmi adapter is compatible with the following products. My astro a50 works perfectly on ps5 and does not have any kind of disturbance or disconnection.
Cons
Their blog post regarding this product unfortunately contains a fairly critical error. Another option is if your tv supports dolby audio then best connecting directly to the tv instead.

Reading a lot about not needed and that but the sound is definitely a lot better with it as if you was running it direct to hdmi a little bit pricey and deffo think astro should of sent these to people who own a50 a40 as you pay 300 for the head set but another way for them to make money i guess

The adapter is good 810 times due to its lack of functionality when playing certain games such as rainbow six siege the audio and video just cut out the screen returns but my audio goes all quiet like 7

I got these for myself to usei have a set of halo limited edition a50’s i got this to use with them first off it says for playstation 5 however this can be used with the xbox series xs

Set up was simple its simply plug and play however for me this caused issues as a streamer i already had a hdmi pass through for my capture card so its been a pain i have had to run this and the capture card at same time but i have noticed a few issues with the signal drop as some have already pointed out this is not future proof as we will need hdmi 2
