Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Quick-connects to the compressor hose and the valve stem of the wheel or tank. You do need to push it on tight so it locks onto threads. It's accurate measured against 2 other gauges that are certified.

Used in automotive shop. Simple to assemble and easy to read/use. Others, verbal nice instrument.

This unit is less expensive than a similar jaco unit. Works 100x better than analog. My only complaint is the chuck is a bit of a pain to use.

Cons

The part that goes inside the tire valve is just terribly designed. It never really latches on to the valve tightly. When you attach the part that connects to the stem it does not have a complete seal.

Cheap chinese junk. Would not reorder or recommend. Just save your money and buy from a more reputable company.

The connection is ideal but the gauge is flawed.

Quality

The gauge feels sturdy and well-built, and the heavy-duty construction ensures that it can handle regular use without issues.

The unit is built well, feels good in the hand, feels like it will last.

The air from your compressor is actually pulling a vacuum on the gauge.

I can't believe i've been using a regular air chuck and a gauge with trial and error all these years.

Price

For the price, it's a great value.

No big deal and no fault of this item.

Competitiveness

Overall so much easier than the alternative and it has worked great to inflate car tires (it's main job).

Two areas for improvement a longer hose and a swivel fitting on the hose

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The hose that attaches to the valve stem is pretty short and depending where the valve stem is you may have to twist and contort the inflator to attach it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Sometimes the gauge face winds up facing the tire instead outward towards you so you have to twist it to read the gauge putting strain on the hose and fittings

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

A swivel fitting on the hose would fix this problem

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

For those with a dually pickup truck the hose will likely be too short to reach the inner tire

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Also the clipon valve chuck is nice to have and frees up a hand instead of having to hold the chuck onto the valve stem

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But if your valve stem happens to be located near a spoke of the wheel if you have spokestyle wheels the clip on the chuck may interfere and hit the spoke meaning you have to twist the chuck around so that the clip doesnt hit the spoke

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Then you run into the short hoseneeds a swivel problem stated above
