Cons
The end leaks so badly its impossible to use. It's pretty much useless if it doesn't put air in your tires.

Quality
Well made, accurate tire inflator and gauge.
Seems very accurate and looks like it will hold up to years of use.
First the hose developed a pinhole leak, then the gauge stopped working finally the cheaply made clip on the end broke.
The unit itself uses a non-npt thread so the standard 1/4" air fittings don't work.
Price
I bought this after being offered a significant discount, but have not been reminded or obliged to post a review.
So i paid more and got this one.
Competitiveness
I own an older similar version of this tool and have been very pleased with it.
I had a cheaper version of this from another maker.

I have tried two other tire inflator products before the astroal product and they were either ineffective or broke quickly after one to two uses

The only trick with the astroal is making sure the inflator hose is securely seated onto the tire valve stem before all the air leaks out but once it is on the stem the clamp is very tight and doesn’t come loose

The threads of the gauge do not fit normal air hoses and all i can figure is you must use their hose fitting which means you have to have a dedicated hose for this gauge

As a post note there wasnt a way to return the unit and now i wish i had taken them up on updating the threads as the unit seems to be pretty darn nice and far better than the substitute that i purchased at my local hardware store
