Pros
Ocular drive does everything i need at lightening speed. Has been used for mainly ripping cd's to flac and ripping blu-rays for backup purposes.
Cons
Horrible practice. Then it rejects it. Not fit for purpose hence returning.
Amazon refuses to send out a 13 amp 3 pin kettle lead or give a credit so the purchaser can buy one, and will only offer a return for the whole drive.

(it is by chance also a asus)this product works a charm as long as you have the right programs.
Always had good experiences with the brand asus, and this one is no exception.
Not with the firmware version supplied at least.
Besides the expense on this product, i have spent at least £500 trying to troubleshoot this horrible device.
Competitiveness
This drive will read blu-rays, dvds and cds on your pc.
It’s plasticky like most stuff these days but does the job.
Reads a 35gb blu-ray in about 15 minutes and writes in about 20 minutes.
You have to buy additional software for bluray playback.

Vlc works for free but you have to add some additional files into the installation location on your pc theres tutorials on reddit or youtube

On the mac you dont need the install disk

To go full screen it says to buy the pro version but you can manually expand the screen by dragging the sides out
