Pros
Laewo blu-ray player is the best. Use it with an asus laptop. Install an aftermarket dvd player app.
Easy to plugin and use. Definitely worth the purchase and the ext. I am very pleased with how easy the set up was.
Cons
Maybe, but i wish i knew, because nowhere on the package did it say that this product came with a y-cable. But definitely awkward/unsat for my desktop.
My laptop recognizes the external drive, but when i put in dvd movies, nothing plays. Starting making an odd clicking noise in the middle watching a dvd then just blacked out.

It’s been holding up pretty well so far, easy to use.
Easy to use and worked perfect for me.
Had an lg external dvd/rw drive for years and it almost never worked right.
If one checks all the "1 star" reviews, they are all from 2015, so perhaps the drives have been improved since then.
Price
The unit does feel a little "flimsy", but it only cost $28, so one shouldn't expect it to be built like a tank.
