Pros

Asus tuf rtx 4070 * super excels at 1440p and 4k gaming, at only a small step-down from an rtx 4080. Performance with dlss and frame gen is a game changer. Solid 120 fps on most single player games at ultra quality.

The card itself is quite big, and feels very well built and sturdy. I have an old rosewill thor case i have used for easily 7-8 years, which is a monster with space, and i still found myself sweating a little due to the size.

Its performance, design, and appearance are impeccable. Asus' after-sales service is truly top-notch. And now that i own it, i wonder how long before it becomes obsolete.

Cons

Has minor cosmetic defects that when you look more then a couple seconds,it's very obvious. Raised an eyebrow but continued on.

The card crashes under heavy loads and runs 35 fps to 45 fps at 600 mhz to 800 mhz when it does. It needs 1200 watts to run correctly. The replacement has a loud, buzzing coil whine, too.

Paying 900 for a 4070ti is rubbish. My gpu manufactures box was destroyed by a pebble being inside the shipping box. I did not want to listen, how bad nvidia treats their customers this day.

The cooling defects are so complicated that it probably would not have the defective issue noticed by simple testing. The ai overclock in the bios was to blame for some of the malfunctioning by underclocking, but not all of it.

If you're good at overclocking, this thing can come close to a 4080 for literally hundreds of dollars less.

I got a malfunctioning card, which amazon let me promptly exchange for a working one.

I contacted the seller and they quickly taking care of it.

After calling up amazon, they promptly offered me an exchange or full refund.

Packaging/appearance

Everything is fine, it came without much damage (only the amazon box has a slight dent).

Runs great, got off warehouse all it was a slightly dinged up box was brand new had all the peels.

Competitiveness

Compared to my 1080, this runs much hotter, so make sure you have a case with good ventilation to keep it cool.
