I would not recommend trying to run a curent gen 7 cpu in an older mobo like this unless you do your homework first.

Cons more like little nitpicks no post diagnose led which can be handy if you just bought everything online and need to pinpoint a doa component

According to nestor from asus this can be caused by me using the xmp profile from my corsair memory modules corsair vengeance lpx 32gb 2x16gb ddr4 dram 2400mhz pc419200 c14 memory kit because c14 goes beyond the c15 ddr4 standard

It is confusing because it seems to me that asuss bios tries to overclock the ram above the xmp profile on every power up and that might fail causing the error message
