Pros

Boot up to login are about the same time. The ssd is quite fast, and my understanding is that it won't slow down over time.

I do belive these are minor inconviniences, this pc on itself is awesome. This laptop is sleek and light weight for what it is packing. Only flaws i have and what most of the reviews of this have in common is the screen and the harddrive.

Cons

I am worried that it was damaged during transport or i got a lemon because i hear people talking about how crisp the speakers are. The screen is a tn panel which i understand has bad viewing angles but this tn panel has terrible viewing angles.

The laptop decides to just not work for about a minute, then resumes working fine. Seems when this occurs the motherboard has died. However, it glitches and when i try to restart it, it doesn't restart right away.

After a month of using this laptop for normal college uses, the keys get stuck which creates the backlight look poor.

Price

This laptop is awesome for the price.

For $852 a gtx 1050, i7 and 16gb ram on a laptop is a solid deal.

Simply, in my opinion it is not worth to pay 25-30% more for 4k display.

However, try to buy it on sale, as amazon reduces 50-100 bucks every 2-3 weeks.

Competitiveness

The laptop replaced an i5 lenovo that i purchased almost 3 years ago.

I could never see myself switching to windows, but mac has finally priced me and most my friends out of their products.
