I would not rule this out simply because of negative comments regarding the stand i enjoy the slight pressure needed to tilt the display back and forth and if i was working alongside some wrestless chimps i expect no monitor to be completely stable

They work great but here is some information that isnt immediately obvious from looking at pictures online1 looking at the earphone jack in the back you might think that the monitor has builtin speakers but thats not the case

However if you use the hdmi cable you can plug in a pair of speakers or headphones then you can use the menus to control the volume

It is true that you dont have to mess with the settings all the time however even something as simple as adjusting the brightness is annoying
