You really need to be using a display port cable and video card to get the highest refresh from this though not sure i would want to run it from hdmi as that cuts the refresh rate considerably

The viewing angles arent great but you probably wont be gaming at right angles to your monitor

Using the screen for photoshop precallibrated it resolves the problem of my very deceptive macbook pro screen in terms of colour

I bought this monitor to drag more usable life from my existing desktop machine which is getting a bit towards the end of its useful life

I ran it at 30 fps for a while as a test and it wasnt very pleasant
