Pros

This isp isp has a 5ghz wifi router with a satellite receiver and antennas. It works well for connecting pc to ap downstairs and all over the house. It is a great way to get the most out of your home wifi.

Enable pci express native power management. They work beautifully with no messing around unlike mellanox cards! But suspect driver issue.

Cons

Asus drivers are out of date & the company have no interest in resolving the issue. It won't make or hold a 5ghz connection to a unifi network, the software is terrible, it's pretty much junk.

This is the most useless piece of tosh ive bought in 30 years of working in it. This product is unacceptable. Basically cheers to amazon, *** to asus.

For years it was upstairs with the desktop pc .

Packaging itself was in good condition and it was well looked after.

The problem is many cables and copper pipes and walls on the way, so speed drops nearly to noone.

Competitiveness

Tweaking might get me a little more but frankly this more than meets my needs; it's a great bit of kit for the price.

Overall i great purchase from an established brand.

One small bug on win 10 1909 is that sometimes refuses to connect to 5ghz network and requires reboot.

However while that is priced similarly to its rj45 sibling, its more than double the cost of other sfp+ competitors.
