Price
This monitor for the price is a steal
The mac monitor is about $1500, the asus is a perfect fit for the mac studio at a fraction of the price.
The monitor itself is good, especially for the price point.
Loving the monitor but it’s too expensive for these kind of problems so unsure of if i should return or buy something else.
Shipping
Don’t think i can blame asus for this second unit, as it looks like it might be an amazon return shipped out again.
First monitor arrived and did not work.
Amazon sent a replacement in one day!
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was very well thought out and set up was very easy too.
” sticker on the box, which wasnt on the first box.
There were no instructions in the box, so i had no idea what the five unlabeled buttons at the bottom right of the display were for.
Competitiveness
I have used more than 10 monitors in this category (qhd) and this is the best for business and academic users.
No comparison with dell, samsung or lg in this category.
Youtube and plex still work fine, but things like amazon video, hulu, netflix, etc won't.

One downside was that the power supplied through the usbc port is 65w which was too low to charge my work laptop when powered on but not a deal breaker for me

If you have another monitor and need to daisy chain to it using this one for a multimonitor setup make sure youre using a monitor with a displayport input or get an active displayport to hdmi adapter or a displayport mst hub with hdmi output that actively converts the video signal since hdmi does not support mst

My spare monitors are all hdmi only so i had to buy a separate adapter to convert the video signal a simple passive displayport to hdmi cable will not suffice unfortunately
