Highlights
Quality
So far i’ve had great performance and an easy setup phase, which i expect to last given asus’s track record.
I love the quality of the board and aesthetics.
The bluetooth adapter stopped working almost immediately due to poor driver support.
Unfortunately, the 10gbe adapter is easily overworked and just shuts down when transferring a few hundred gb of data.
Price
Overall i’m very please with this board; yes it’s a tad bit expensive but the looks and features are what you pay for.
I hope i can return the extras without charging the 15% restock fee from amazon.
Doesn't slow anything down, a bit excessive for people on a budget.
Was surprised i had not noticed the proart x670e creator wifi board before for $200 less cost.
Packaging/appearance
There is no good way to improve this given how packed in they are behind your card.
I was also slightly bummed about the "proart" logo on it (didn't like the design) and was wondering if i can unscrew it somehow... Read More
Competitiveness
The new proart board runs the 7950x just as well as the hero boards.
Had already upgraded two other 5950x hosts to the x670e hero boards and 7950x.
It is not guaranteed that asus will even support the newer agesa options, if it even comes out.
Each brand used a small portion of the chipset bandwidth for something else.
