It's great, simply (simple to me anyways) set it up with an ip, enable ap mode, connect to primary router, done.
Suddenly, four months after purchase, it simply stopped functioning.
Need a firmware update, it keeps dissconecting every once in a while.
Price
A whole home wifi solution can set you back $500.
Cost a bit more, but boy was it worth it.
Pricey, but it does the job and is really easy to set up (at least if you have an asus router as well, i didn't try mixing brands).
Shipping
Arrived pretty fast not as easy to set up as i had hoped, called their help and not sure he knew what to do either.
Packaging/appearance
Packaging is typical asus - top notch.
I plugged it in and haven't had to touch it since, covers the whole house, much more range than i expected.
Competitiveness
I tried other repeaters and after the third repeater, this one works great.
Invest in a couple of these and a couple of powerline ethernet adapters and you can get a better solution for a lot less.
I have an asus router, so decided to match up asus router with asus extender/repeater.
4g band is more stable than the 5g band.
