I got my asus rog thor 1000w platinum ii, great deal got it on sale.

They cannot sell me a $15-$20 additional sata power connectors for my psu.

Thats where the price tag comes in.

Also, you must realize that the motherboard is rotated with the 300 (and also the other from thermaltake) tower-style cases.
