I didn’t both to look at what version was on it out of the box i just updated it first thing.
Competitiveness
Turns out that sk hynix is the only over-clocked ram which works well with expo.
I do have extremely long boot times but i think its more on the pairing with the mobo and amd expo.

I am running this with a amd ryzen™ 9 7950x3d ill need to save up after this purchase to afford a worthy gpu but based on of what im seeing ill be fine till then with the cpus integrated graphics controller

It was very frustrating having a high end pc held back by being stuck at 4800mhz but i just couldnt stand the blue screen of death endless loops and failing to boot any more

Im not sure if this problem is endemic with the asus x670 boards but i would advise anyone who is looking to run their amd series 5 pcs with expo make absolutely sure that you use ram that is on their qvl list
