At £107, and with the transformation in our internet user experience, i would say this is tremendous value.
For years i have been paying virgin a nice monthly fee for 200mbs broadband speed.
Once set up a good router for the price.

Very fast, did a speed test another room and download speed was 65mpbs, we have bt infinity 75mb, so very happy with that.

Competitiveness
This is my second router from asus as one of my two preferred brands, the other being netgear.
Well worth the money much more stable than the bt homehub 5, also works with bt vision.
I have bought numerous extenders from tp link and even used virgin's own extenders.

Wifi signal is about the same as can be expected from anything like this its not amazing but why should i expect it to travel through 3 brick walls

Managing users is quite easy toson wont do homework log into the app tap tap no network for him 0i replaced a netgear router for this and wished id done it earlier

I have good background in business systems so am aware of the key terms and features needed from a router but have no technical networking experience to call on when choosing and installing a new router

The first thing to mention is that this model is a router only and you also need a modem i chose not to get the combined model as i couldnt see it with34ac34 range

When i first setup both modem and router whilst it worked fine i was getting issues when trying to use it remotely as the router lan was conflicting with that of the modem

Therefore i could not create a ddns and get the benefit from the remote connection features
