Pros

One of my most used purchases. All three are awesome! I would recommend it to my friends. Very happy with this purchase.

Video from webcam records and streams nice and clear. Mine matches up to a asus 27 without the webcam. Mic seems to work fine but haven’t used yet for any video conferencing.

New one works great with mac mini (web cam too) and looks great. Yes, it works on a macbook pro, 2011 mavericks.

This monitor has picture-in-picture (pip), which is a very nice thing since its doubling as a tv/monitor. Using pip doesnt seem to effect refresh rate and works very well.

We were not disappointed with the picture quality in any way. The ability to tilt the screen is great. Responsive and text and pictures are very crisp.

Cons

This just seems to be a model that needs a good win 10 camera driver. Another complaint is that the speakers are mediocre.

The manual that came with the product is one of those foldout mega pages in bad english and printed in about 2 point font. My bad on the assumption & failure to drill down on that when ordering.

The contrast ratio is excellent, the colors are definitely vivid and it functions very well even after almost 3 years.

Great monitor get very smooth gaming and there is no problem with visibility even with the lights on get lots of compliments on it.

Better a poor cam than no cam considering that i'm sticking with a non-mac monitor option.

Attempting to learn how to use the features that are on the bottom bezel, seven buttons.

Price

For the price point this is an excellent value.

Not going to give it too much shade because i got it for an absolute steal.

Did not have a microphone as advertised, but the extra $20 to buy one was not a deal breaker!

If your looking for a inexpensive monitor for home office, or any office for that matter, this is the monitor you want.

This came really fast and was packaged really well.

January 26, 2018 received asus 27 inch monitor ve 278q from amazon.

Received the asus 27" monitor faster than stated when ordering.

Packaging/appearance

Turned on monitor and it looked beautiful.

Unpacked it, and found no dead pixels after hooking it up.

Hooked up the included usb, which has the bubble fuse holder, and turned on skype, looked in preferences, there it was.

The box came, i worried about putting it all back in, or shipping it back without trying it.

Competitiveness

She uses it to compare 2 medical records at the same time on the single screen.

By now this monitor is old compared to 4k and other modern day tech.

The 19 asus screen is 11 7/8" high and is the closest size i could find to the 13 1/4" height of the 27 inch asus.
