At the end of the day built in speakers really never perform as well as you would hopeoverall your getting most of the spec of an £800 laptop for around £600 that to me seems to be the reason for the poor screen so if the screen is a deal breaker i would avoid this

It plays all my video files all my software starts quickly and runs well and surfing the internet on my wifi network is also plenty fast enough
