Pros & Cons
Pros
Built a rig for my mom office with this an i7 7700k and 16gb ram. Simply the best cost-efficient board when paired with nvidia 1070/1080 cards and 6700k/7700k processors. Asus aura sync is a must have for any rgb build!
The motherboard seems very solid. Updating this board is very easy and quick. Verified power supply. Usb 3.
Cons
Motherboard was sent in its shelf packaging already open. Lasted a year and a half before dying. Appears that for asus the priority was low cost, not quality, when they built this motherboard.
I/o shield makes it very difficult to remove the ram sticks. This also causes my pc to not be able to reboot when putting it to sleep.
Highlights
Quality
One of the best motherboards i have used, great for overclocking.
It has a good fan support and custom fan curve setup for each exit.
Options are too limited and some softwares doesn't even show properly.
It has scratches all over the metal parts.
Price
Absolutely perfect for those looking to hit the sweet spot between price and power!
I paid $212 last year on amazon and you can find it elsewhere for that price.
This is a great mobo, but be weary of the price you pay for it.
Shipping
Arrived on time and works perfect !
Packaging/appearance
Packaging in original packaging like new complete with manual and driver disk.
Competitiveness
Simply the best cost-efficient board when paired with nvidia 1070/1080 cards and 6700k/7700k processors.
I wish more manufacturers would go with white and black schemes and configurable leds.
