In any case for years we have used a uniden dect system but its gotten old and creaky and was due for a replacement

The answering system features are nice if you need them though ooma also includes voice mail so we should never use the builtin answering system

The feature that appealed to me on these is the pushtotalk which can broadcast to one handset or all of them
