Pros & Cons
Pros
Excellent quality - much better than the lined version. They also hold the coupler tightly and its actually a small chore to remove them. This is the 'old fashioned' pastry bag which is great.
Cons
The bottom of the bag is just a wee bit too big to fit my standard couplers, so frosting leaks out. The seam is too thick to properly screw on a coupler ring. Another problem is the finished bottom seam, making the fabric there very thick.

Excellent quality - much better than the lined version.
They can handle the heavy frostings, as well as the light ones, unlike the lightweights which cant take the pressure.
I have has the ateco bag with a lining for years - but over time, the lining begins to smell, crack and peel.
Some things get squeezed through the material - but i prefer that to a lining and plastic.

Ive had disposable bags which split and break polyurethane bags which are good but the tips pop off vinyl bags which get too slippery and these canvas bags which i have found to be exactly right for decorating cakes
