Pros & Cons
Pros
Ateco is my choice for piping tips. The bigger sizes are also perfect for piping churros and eclair shells.
My only complaint is the little flexible plastic container can become deformed. I was surprised at how much frosting was needed when using the larger tips. It's helpful to make extra buttercream before starting to decorate.
Heavy-gauge stainless and seamless steel and the excellent workmanship are impressive. Great for all of my decorating needs and arrived quickly.
The openings range from medium to huge, so as long as you have the right couplers, these will give you plenty of options. I actually love having the different opening sizes, and the different looks they give. The rest fit just fine.
Cons
These tips are just too big for piping small/detailed icing. They're also too big to fit in the ateco 398 standard plastic couplers.
Highlights
Quality
The product works as being described in the product information.
I loved the value of them and the quality.
The tips are engraved with the brand and piping tip number.
Here is a picture of some piping work i did with the tips.
Price
The price was great and since it was on prime, i went with this selection even though it meant duplicating several tips already in my kit.
Nice set of tips at a very good price.
Shipping
The 10 piping tips come in a plastic 'cone' with a lid, which is pretty sturdy for shipping purposes.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is really tough to break.
They're also too big to fit in the ateco 398 standard plastic couplers.
Competitiveness
Every ateco product i have ever owned has been good quality.
This is my third purchase of an ateco 10 pc.

I’ve only used the two biggest tubes one to pipe choux and the other to pipe macarons

Do not these arent the usual small ones that come in starter sets etc

They are bigger and arent going to pair with a bag that has a standard coupler built in
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I actually dont even use a coupler for these i either use plastic icing bags or i use a regular resusable bag with nothing on the end that ive trimmed to fit the largest of these appropriately

Because of the difference in size between the smallest of this set and the biggest i cant use one icing bag for all at least not how i do it
