Pros & Cons
Pros
Ateco makes many gadgets and tools for baking. This pan with removable bottom is a wonderful addition to their line. It is good that the bottom can be removed, helps to get such a tall loaf out of the pan easily.
Cons
The bottom has areas where the aluminum is raised & bumpy as if it has been scraped by a sharp serrated instrument. The replacement pan was also dented in a similar way. I will not take a chance on pans that have a flawed design.

Competitiveness
I will definitely seek out ateco products in the future!
However, this does not work for the more liquid-y batters which will leak through.

The next day i put the entire thing in a plastic bag and dipped upside down in a sink of warm water then flipped it over on a plate

I then quickly wiped the plate of any melt and put the cake on the plate right back in the freezer for another 15 to 20 minutes
