Pros

This is a great mat- it's non-stick, slightly translucent, and nicely springy and soft. Transferring from the mat is sooooo simple.

Absolutely perfect for more than jut fondant. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it to not have that mess. Great product, perfect size, fast shipping.

It is quite large, so moving things around on it is a bit cumbersome. It lies flat, is super easy to clean up, covers a giant expanse of desktop. Since its silicon it is easy to roll your gumpaste/fondant cause there is no movement.

Work mat is perfect for rolling out large amounts of dough. Thin enouph to place over cake when peeling off fondant.

Cons

I'm mystified why this is being sold and marketed as a fondant work mat. It is very heavy and unwieldy when trying to use it to help get the fondant on the cake.
