Pros

The shelf comes with a totally of 8 large space each cubby has a front and back area of space. Each cube stacks, revolves around separately and holds a nice amount of dvd's. The unit is great for storing blue ray and games.

Sturdy, relatively easy to assemble. Quite sturdy as well was honestly shocked by that. It is secure.

Easy to assemble even fir this 68 year old lady! Easy to follow instructions for quick assemble.

Cons

Concept is great design leaves something to be desired. This is very cheaply made and not at all what was advertised.

The boxes are supposed to rotate independently of one another, but there is nothing connecting the top box to the base. The only orientation it feels only slightly stable in is will all of the boxes flush to one another. This is not sturdy.

The center flange is only a piece of plastic and the rest of the weight is resting on felt pads.

It also seems possible to stack the boxes of a second bookcase to make it taller, but i don't think i'd recommend it that way for anybody.

Competitiveness

Compared to alternatives i could find for sale, i am really happy with this and would buy it again.
