Highlights
Quality
This thing is built like a tank, sturdy and heavy base make it perfect for me.
Sturdy, well constructed, and very smooth after a short break-in period.
Base is extra heavy, even when tying large stoneflies when applying torque it doesn’t move for me.
I've been tying off and on for 10 years and finally needed to get a new vise because my old entry level model shot craps.
Price
Great value in a rotary fly tying vice.
Absolutely excellent, forget the higher price vises this is awesome.
With a vise like this i see no reason to buy any one that's more expensive.
If you are tying only for your personal needs and want a great vise for under $200, this could be it.
Shipping
My new atlas anvil vice arrived 5 day earlier than expected.
Received an immediate order confirmation email, and a shipping confirmation on the next business day.
I ordered the vice the day before going out of town for a week, and it was here upon my arrival.
Competitiveness
Compare to renzetti and peaks i have.
Has all the features i was looking for at a fraction of the price of the more well known brands.
Close to mil spec if there were any for tying flies.
