Thankfully it has worked out of the box but following the steps there is no way with updating the unit it always fails even with connected with both wifi and bt

It doesnt say what codecs is used for the bt connection even looking at developer options it says default and does not indicate a codec

The unit itself is quite small and should slip or tuck away very easily into the nook and crannies that are on most cars today

In terms of cons doesnt work as quickly and as seamlessly as i would imagine an actual first partyoem wireless android auto system would work as it takes time for my phone to make subsequent connections when the car is turned off and restarted as it seems to need to join the wireless network that this little dongle creates after you bluetooth pair to it
