It takes about 10 seconds to boot up and for the b/u camera to be functional. Logging on to carplay takes another few seconds.

Atoto p8 updateafter my first review i discovered an issue with the atoto p8 i received.
Competitiveness
Install this in my nissan micra 2018.
Logging on to carplay takes another few seconds.
Hands free phonei rate items 1 through 3, as 10 out of 10.
It may not be a an atoto problem but a cell signal issue.

I chose the p8 over upgrading my head unit because of the value proposition and it ease to setup but i need to to say that the internal microphone is not good and on this version they removed the external microphone input so if the call quality is a deal breaker do not buy this

Atoto if you are reading this please return the option to plug an external mic and put in the manual how to change the boot logo

Also there is a bit of a learning curve to get the most out of this infotainment system

I suspect some of the short comings are carplay related siri voice commands dont seem to work with sirius xm and not due to the atoto

Suggested improvements 1 the wire from the back of the unit and the back up camera lead are only about 6 long

If you have anything other than a horizontal surface to mount it to you are out of luck
