I bouth this to help with cavitation that was occuring due to the shaft on the 15 hp honda motor being too long for the notched stern of the whaler. Put these on my 25hp yamaha.

Cons

Hp two * but the cavitation plate on that engine is just too small for this to fit right. Installed the fin and performance is much much better.

The price i got it for on amazon was cheaper than i have found it anywhere else, including e-bay.

It was taking a little while to get it on plane then i bought this and it helped out a lot.

The boat was on plane pretty quickly and at less than 1/2 throttle with only me on the boat.

One person, two persons or two plus a dog, all planed very quickly and easily.

Better than "as advertised" these are "fine.

Some of the other brands will not fit due to the anti-cavitation plate being so small on this motor.
