I really enjoy the reference style sound, came from hd6xx and akg k712 pro's.
5 headphones adapter so had to buy separately.
Price
Yes the only caveat is a very average sized soundstage compared to over $1000.
00 open backs however the sound signature punches way above their price.
Competitiveness
In my opinion outside of soundstage size i prefer them to the much pricier lcd3.
