I am going to sell my lps that i stored over 35 years ago, this is better than my old belt drive turntable.
And they sounded better than they've ever had.
I've owned a few turntables in my time, and this one is the first one i've owned that sounds its price tag.

I bought this mainly to rip vinyl to my computer and i chose this one in particular because its so widely available and has been manufactured for so long that finding replacement and parts and aftermarket modifications for it should be fairly painless

It has pretty decent sound for being a stock stylus but i do plan on upgrading to the micro linear one to get the best possible sound out of it

The builtin stroboscope is a nice touch as finding a strobe light that is calibrated to flash at the correct hertz for turntable speed control is hard to come by these days

The builtin preamp is nice for people just starting out and maybe dont have a preamp yet

Im utilizing the preamp because i dont have a preamp that i can route to my computer because as i said im using this mostly for ripping vinyl
