Pros & Cons
Cons
Audioengine 512 only supports the sbc codec. Other audioengine bluetooth products support aac as well as aptx and apt-x and do not suffer from this same problem. After 'burn in' the sound is muddy to my tastes, weak on base, unsatisfying on mids.
Highlights
Quality
That is the true joy of listening on a good quality system.
Competitiveness
I have been a big fan of audioengine since buying a pair of their 5+ speakers for my computer some years ago.
With their very competitive price and the risk-free trial, audioengine speakers are a superb investment.
I demand natural sound for all types of music and these audioengine products deliver.
