Very happy with the sound and easy to use setup for these speakers.

I am surprisingly impressed with the sound quality of these speakers.

The sound quality over bluetooth from my galaxy s8 is lackluster probably lower then bluetooth v 5.

Update: after about a month of being a very satisfied customer, the device driver stopped working.

Packaging/appearance

The speakers come in some nice packaging with their own protective bags.

What was included was dense foam packaging so i just cut a couple strips of that and used them to prop them up so they pointed at my ears.

The packaging included some cloth bags with a nice pull tight strap, sort of like a better quality amazon gift wrapping.

Competitiveness

I played them next to a 50w yamaha rx-397 amp with a pair of polk tsi100s.

Executive summary:i upgraded to these audioengine a2+ speakers from the $20 speakers i’d been using since i got my desktop pc.

I have a steelseries wireless pro headset, whose base station has a safe in it and aux port in and out.

But there's one downside - bose makes up for it's midrange with a boomy sub.
