It features slits on both sides, wraps completely around the back of the plate, and the entire thing is held in place with ordinary screws.
I've had it on for a about 6 weeks and the caps are still tight.

I am way happier this way and the price is very fair, especially with the stainless mounting hardware, its well thought out.

I purchased this to add bit of heft and rigidity to the plate because the spinning brushes at my local car wash were snagging the edges and causing the plate to bend

The two sets of screws that come with this frame were too small for my 2022 gmc yukon license plate holes so had to buy the right hardware

I have a very slight amount of feedback which is i like the side load license plate design but i think it only needs a slit on 1 side not 2 for loading
