This means if you want to use it as a bedside lamp it will keep you awake unless you completely shut the power off by the switch which is quite inconvenient

Only downsides are that the unit itself has a light to indicate that it is on mains power so if you prefer a completely dark room to sleep youll have a glow off the power indicator
