Negatives only negative i can think of is that this adapter will not support every device that has usbc

Tested initially by connecting it to my tv after some initial issues the hdmi connector on my cable was not firmly seated in the tv the screen was autodetected and running

No drivers or configuration were required other than making sure the cable was firmly connected it just worked

The connector has a small green light on it to indicate it is active from the usbc side nothing to do with whether the hdmi cable is connected or not
