Its hard not to miss the doorbell ringing because there is no mechanical action the bell clicker does have a small blue led which indicates the bell switch has been activatedthe good good wireless range of 1100 ft which is on the higher side in the 20 price category performs well even with multiple layers of drywalls and with the bell and the clicker on different floors loud lots of choices in melodiesthe not so good the lack of a mechanical bell push button means that you have to rely on the tiny led to know if the bell was activated or not

I also didnt need one that needed to be connected to my wifi network well not yet at least

It is loud enough to be heard over the tv or music playing and literally you can plug it into any outlet in the house and hear when someone rings it no matter where you are at in the house
