Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

I run 16 hd security cameras, from this switch 10 of which have ptz functionality. It does the job well for cisco poe ip phones.

The switch is unmanaged and gigabit. The boot speed is instant. Running great, haven't had to reboot the switch or anything so far.

Cons

I was fooled by all the positive reviews. My recommendation is as above, don't buy this one if you want something that lasts! Spend the extra few bucks on a well known manufacturer.

All connectivity is lost to all devices until it's power cycled.

I’ve probably installed 70 of these and thankfully haven’t dealt with any failures or any poe devices that it couldn’t power.

Lacks in instructions though, single page says to not use the vlan switch, and i'm not even sure i know how, esp as this is an ...  Read More

Price

Cannot beat this product for the price!

120 watts for the unit is totally enough for our needs.

Unmanaged, but for a managed switch you would typically pay a lot more.

I bought one to check it out, because the price seemed really good as did the reviews.

Shipping

Came three days later than originally stated, but that is a separate issue.

Packaging/appearance

The box felt hefty when i first picked it up.

The packaging was solid, so the poe box was not going to be banging around during shipping.

The item itself was impressive, immediately upon unboxing.

Competitiveness

This 5-port network switch is slightly smaller than the competition, and i really like how the power plug is on the same side a...  Read More

Just as good as all the expensive models

Rather than buying name brand this company caught my eye.

Better than a couple of some more known brands i've used.
