Pros

Not only is the device compact, but it is extremely well built. It's fanless and ultra quiet, but if you put your ear right next to it, it makes a little chirping/electrostatic kind of noise.

Aumox 5-port gigabit poe switch in a metal enclosure and small form factor. Eliminates bulky external power supply/wall warts. No external power adapter is also a big win. Works great for non-poe devices.

Replaced 4-year-old router. Multiple wired and wireless devices.

Security cameras are a perfect pair with this device. Provides steady power to my four ring cameras installed in my property. Highly recommend for anyone looking to use ring elite cameras, or other poe devices.

Cons

I was fooled by all the positive reviews. I hope the other two don't die on me. Not buying a third.

I came across this little metal gigabit ethernet switch, which seemed like a great deal for the price.

It's still one of the cheapest ones you can find but at, say, 25 dollars that would be perfect.
