I actually own a few rgb led devices with similar remotes and they seem to be mostly interoperable there must be some common manufacturer who makes a generic ir rgb controller

Every fortnight or so the light seems to go into a mode where it doesnt respond to the remote but turning off the light for a couple of hours fixes it

If i needed to buy a bulb now id probably go with one of those but that doesnt make this a bad product

It fulfils this function well and i would have given it 5 stars were it not for the slight greenish tinge of the orange and yellow settings

This however may be a personal issue the colours are probably produced by combining different quantities of red green and blue light and are not pure spectrum colours so they are bound to be perceived slightly differently by different individuals
