The halogen gave a good instant light but drew 150wthe fluorescent gave similar good light after 5 mins warm up and drew 42w slow warm up means that i tend to leave them on when leaving the room
A month ago one of the fluorescent bulbs failed so i bought one of these led 3w as an experimentfor comparison
