I keep it plugged in and i erase the code that puts my truck in limp mode. Tells all and clears all lights. I fix my car, didn't know what or why it stalled, until i connect the scan tool.
Comes in a nice zip nylon bag that keeps it dry to store in the trunk. Comes with a very nice and durable carry case. Can save you a fortune with this tool. Saves a lot of time and effort going into parts stores.
Cons
Couldn't register this obd2 in order to get vehicle-specific downloads. Perhaps this product is just incompatible with evs?

Since there was no code sent to identify the issue we did a data scan while driving and it found that the truck was running very hot over time even though the temperature gage in the truck was not picking it up until it was too late
