This tool can read and erase dtcs for abs, srs, engine and transmission.
If you have a basic 'check engine' situation, this is overkill.
I've been looking for a tool to clear an srs light that i triggered when i removed my seats for deep cleaning.
Price
Don’t let the dealerships take your money because of “diagnostic fees”.
Didn't want to pay a mechanic to find out what was causing the issue.
I’m sure there’s better for the price
Everyone should have at least the basic $10 reader though.

Compared to the scan tool i was previously using, al629 is nice and easy to use, works well on my car.

I did have to call tech support to do the updates and i didn’t have to wait on hold for a long time

My computer wouldn’t recognize the scanner so i had to pull the sd card out and plug it directly into the computer and then it downloaded

I was able to scan the srs on my jeep but it couldn’t read the srs code on my bmw which is a little disappointing

I had to upgrade because i needed codes specific to my manufacturer for the srs system airbags etc
