Highlights
Quality
I am very pleased with the quality and ease of use.
Very good scanner works on alot of cars.
I specifically bought this model because it supported the abs/srs diagnostics, so i am a little disappointed.
It comes with the cable for connecting to your vehicle & another usb cable to connect to your computer, plus android plug.
Price
Very good product great price i am very pleased with it
I had srs light on in my 2005 honda crv & i was kind of worried it may cost me a lot to fix it.
Updates are free for one year from data of registration, after that they cost lots of $$$$.
Packaging/appearance
As long as you read the instruction booklet.
Competitiveness
Works on all our cars but hubby's gmc.
This obii scan tool worked great for a 2003 volvo.
So far the autel website does not have a software update to bring the abs/srs portion up to date.
It works great with my android phone and several common obd2 apps like torque.

Updating from the internet is easy enough although you need an sdcard reader and a windows machine not always as readily available as it once might have been

My only disappointment arguably not the fault of the hardware is that it didnt work on my wifes 2009 suzuki swift
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It doesnt work because this suzuki still uses the proprietary sdlkwp protocol which is not supported

It can however access the srs and abs modules of the suzuki which was another reason i wanted this scanner those modules log low voltage errors when your battery fails and the airbag light does not go out unless you clear the error
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I think it is ridiculous that you have to go to a dealer to reset an airbag module because your battery failed

The ml619 identified and cleared the code

The unit appears to do every obdii diagnostic testreset code without any issues
