Pros

The app is very useful, allowing me to control charging speeds and schedule charging sessions during off-peak hours to save.

Wall mounting looks very straightforward using the solid metal bracket and screws that are provided. Works well, easy install, and easy setup. For those who don't want to go the hardwired route this is a first rate charger.

Autel makes some of the highest regarded scan tools on the market, i was anxious to try this level 2 evse. The feature set is incredibly rich for a residential consumer device. Overall happy with it and will recommend to my friends.

This model is the "lite" version that is prewired with a 14-50 plug. With the plug it maxes out at 40 amps or 9.

Cons

Charger doesn't connect to the wi-fi. The app is not very good either. The company's support team is useless, they just keep repeating the same things all the time.

Packaging/appearance

I installed this charge in my garage, it comes well packaged and is ready to plug in right out of the box, this was the method i choose.

Even the package itself can give you a very high-quality feeling.

This autel 40a charger has a very similar charging rate as my hard wired charger.

The autel maxicharger isn't as well known, and some reviews gave it very high praise, but there's hardly any mention of the app.
