The adjustable amperage provides flexibility to accommodate various electric vehicles' needs. We have 100 amp service in our home, it's an older house, but you need 200 amp for this.

The 1450p plug is made with the ground pin positioned so that you are expected to reach the cord down to the socket from above which makes it completely incompatible with every 1450p outdoor socket on the market which have a door with latch at the top and requires the cord to reach up to the socket from below
