That functionality doesnt seem to be 100 accurate you have to press the buttons a couple times sometimes to see a result

Out of the box you might find it doesnt work for your car until you update

It came with the charging unit that doesnt have to be plugged into a computer

The only problem i had was that after updating the firmware the market setting changed form america to europe and it wouldnt scan any of my cars until that was changed back
